Congratulations to GCRG PhD Student Maya Zeff for her outstanding accomplishment in being awarded a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship! Maya will be funded to investigate whether facilitation cascades (i.e., when one species promotes another with positive effects on overall diversity) can buffer ecosystems against climatic extremes.
